9.00 (very good) The story revolves around Teito Klein and his adventures to uncover his lost memories. Therefore he stumbles in a conflict between church and military. Has action, drama, fantasy and a lot of bishies ;) almost non female characters and places value on friendship. If you dislike any allusions at shounen-ai then you probably will not like it. The entire series plays at the church and has a slower tempo than the manga. I really hope for a 2nd Season then I love the manga to death ;)

9.50 (excellent) Original story. Excellent music. Far too little episodes ;). The end would be very tragic without credits (even though I had still liked it) although the theme of the series per se isn't very happy. Highly recommended to all.

10.00 (excellent) Great story and loveable characters. I found the first episode a bit odd and dropped it almost (why? I don't know for sure myself) but that makes the series not less interesting. If you like DuRaRaRa! then you will like this the same. Personally I've watched DuRaRaRa before and through some recommendations I tried it out and fell in love at second try LOL Now I like it even more than DuRaRaRa! Watch it!

10.00 (excellent) Absolute unique series. I love all about it. Characters are great. Presentation isn't straight but uses many different angles, which might take much getting used to. You must read (by subbs :))a lot, indeed, but I have fallen for the dialogues - lovely, hilarious, sarcastic, serious, embarassing all at once. Must watch for all who are sick from the usual same old things.

7.00 (above average) I'm pretty ambivalent about the whole series not only due to my loving the manga and the fact that Train is and most likely will ever be my favorite manga male lead. The first six or so episodes are just great even if they involve stuff the manga doesn't mention and change the plot timeline. But it was really nice to see more of Trains side as Nr. 13, Chronos assassin known as "Black Cat". The following development till the showdown with Cread was nice but nothing more (nearly most of all the awesome fights are left out) but the whole thing with Eve after that I didn't like very much. So for me the show gets slowly worse till the end leaving me with a disappointing feeling and probably with an opinion dyed by the aftermaths of it and the fact that I'm loving the manga so much :).

9.00 (very good) I love Felli and Fon-Fon as characters and also the setting is interesting. Humanity lives in Regios (movable cities) because the whole planet is uninhabitable for them and fight against filth monsters. Plenty of action but sadly a lot of questions remain unanswered. The end would make a great start for a 2nd Season. Story is based on the light novels.

9.00 (very good) One of the long series over 100 eps I really love all the way through. If I recall correctly there are quite a few filler eps but there are relatively interesting to watch. The story is original including some pretty awesome and crazy characters and good music. There are good fighting scenes along with a very enjoyable plot line, some comedy relief but overall a wonderful, creepy, dark and suspenseful anime. A must watch for atmospheric tight and dark atmosphere lovers like me :)

8.00 (good) I was very excited to hear it became an anime but it did not live up to my expectations in comparison to the manga (to my taste, the plot changes prevented me from seeing my favorite scenes animated). I also didn't like very much to see a person who doesn't exist in the manga. But yet the story itself (without knowing the manga) is appealing, if you don't mind a few hundred-year-old Vampire Queen in a children body (which I certainly don't), who doesn't mind nudity. Personally, I find the first episode to introduce humanity to the existence of Vampires quite hilarious but could give off a false impression of the whole series. Although in the end, I came to like it.

9.50 (excellent) To begin with, I didn't know what to be expected but I'm glad I watched it. Every episode is a surprise and the sentence, not everything is as it seems, completely applies. Recommend to watch!

Ghost Hunt

9.50 (excellent) One of the few really good ones for horror and mystery. I like the mix of different practicalities to deal with ghost-related cases. A monk, a priest/exorcist, a medium, a miko and with science. The ghost cases itself cover the usual and common phenomena like dolls, poltergeister, possesions, lingering spirits but aren't stereotypical presented and create a nice horror atmosphere. I would have liked to be provided with more background info about one protagonist (Kazuya Shibuya/Naru) and also be able to watch the last arc from the manga in animation. For horror and mystery fans definitely a must watch. For ones with weak nerves I recommend not watching in the dark ;)

8.00 (good) A very nice version from the ever famous detective duo watson&holmes in the main roles a Japanese transfer student and a highly intelligent but clumsy at normal things, blond, fairy-like loli girl living in the library of a private school with a preference for sweets and always searching for mysteries to solve to relieve her boredom. I don't know why the Japaneses seem to invent European countries which aren't existing but the criminal cases are interesting and take place in the early twentys of the 20th century. I'm glad to see again a nice detective story with funny characters and their own peculiarities.

8.25 (good) I had much fun watching this series. For me, this series has with Kazuma by far one of the most awesome male leads ever -strong, confident till conceit, merciless, faithful in his beliefs but also caring and some times even sweet ;). His mean streak and darkness in personality makes him not only much more real but also stronger. I also enjoyed a lot how Kazuma teased Ayano who could be a bit annoying at times. It isn't a very original story but that must not necessarily be to entertain. The ending was promising for more but sadly there will be none.

8.50 (very good) A new finished series of the winter season 10/11 that's hilarious good! Have seldom laughed that much while the overall theme is this dark, bloody and deathly. Ayumu is great as Zombie (and after his transformation I could not stop laughing) and Hellscythe-dono is totally cute with her sketchbook. If you look for seriousness you're totally out of place but if you love the arrangement of some random matter and parody into one storyline you definitely will love it but you shouldn't be too squeamish because Zombies are undead and don't die even if they're e.g. caught in an explosion ;)

10.00 (excellent) This series is a matter of taste. Most people would probably feel bored by it because of the slow story flow, but I love it. There is action in it but not as showy, sparkling or exploding as usually shown though more fitting for the anime's calm air. I love the atmosphere created by the show - thoughtful, melancholic, calm, gentle but also building suspense with a mix of mystery and humor. The series emits its own charm and also sadness and solitude. The corresponding manga creates this atmosphere probably even better. There are 2nd, 3rd and 4th season.

7.50 (good) I usually don't like harem anime but I thoroughly enjoyed watching this series. Junpei destroyed by accident a cat statue at a shrine and got cursed to turn into a cat himself if he doesn't do 100 good deeds to cats furthermore he can now speak and understand them. To complicate the situation further he's allergic towards cats and must not let know this matter to others because the curse would broaden by including this person. The story doesn't invent the genre anew but it's a nice, light-hearted watch with really good comedy effects and laugh-attacks are guaranteed. I also like Junpei as the male lead and the usually overexerted elements which are considered as pervert you find typically in this sort of anime are held moderate and are fitting if used (even if the common "try to sneak and peek in the womens section at the onsen-scene" is included). I think that's the most important point for me to like it as a harem anime :)

9.00 (very good) I don't know why but the story gives off an alice-in-wonderland-feeling (probably the names). Can be quite creepy at times but that makes it so loveable, for me ;). Has action, drama and a lot of mysteries plus crazy characters. I couldn't reconcile with the end but I hope for a 2nd Season. The manga is still ongoing and there are still many secrets to uncover.

Psychic Detective Yakumo

9.00 (very good) I can say finally a good mystery story appears again. I found the manga by pure chance and liked it a lot but was sad that there was not much reading material and later on I discovered that there exists two different versions (an older and a newer one). I was truly very surprised to see it animated but made me also very happy and excited. Even if the theme of the different eye color with powers is often used, if its implementation is good I don't mind how often exactly :). I also quite like the idea to be able to sea and speak with the ghosts/spirits but can't actually do any other things besides that. Normally I'm pretty annoyed with the girls actions at some point of the story but the interaction between Yakumo and Haruka is really good. I like his cold, distant attitude and how Haruka tries to understand him more but don't get discouraged or some silly thoughts, stands up and truly thinks and knows how to handle Yakumos attitude. The shown cases are interesting, some sweet and some sad. I really enjoyed watching it but only 13 eps are too short ;)

9.00 (very good) A really exellent series. It combines the action side very well with the emotional level. The story is not as simple as you might think to begin with. It's at the same time happy but very tragic. I truly loved it more the more I watched from it. You will surely feel symphatetic to Masahiro at the end. I wished there were more. The novels, which the series is based of, continue after where the anime left us. I think this show is really underrated and I'm delighted to have found and fell in love with it. Recommend!

Soukyuu no Fafner

8.25 (good) The character design is reminiscent of Gundam Seed. I found it per coincidence but really liked the show. I love the music provided by angela especially Shangri-La, the opening song. Action, mecha, aliens and refreshingly for me ;) an end where the aliens are not completely defeated - you can also say an open end. I also like the idea where the mecha-users get killed through the permanent use of their machines. The prequel movie is "Soukyuu no Fafner Right OFF Left" and the sequel movie is "Soukyuu no Fafner Heaven and Earth".

7.00 (above average) Ayumu's elder brother vanished without a trace 2 years ago. Now, Ayumu gets involved in mysterious cases of the police and the even more puzzling Blade Children which always challenge him. The story diverts quite big from the manga plot and has no conclusion. If you are prepared for many unresolved questions at the end of the anime than it is wotrth a glance. If you liked it nonetheless, I highly recommend to read the manga (complete in 15 Volumes) which I love ;).

9.25 (very good) I really like this OVA. If I remember correctly the whole situation displayed in the anime wasn't a part of the manga but that's not a problem. I think the depiction of the characters is what counts and to give a short insight at the overall story (the situation, work, persons, relationships, aims are nicely introduced). Therefore I find the characterizations of Hal and Kai well done. Hal the experienced agent, confident and serious with work and rather difficult to approach as person. Kai the newbie, friendly one, at times a bit clumsy but always trying his best with work and Hal. The OVA gives a quite good picture about the relationship between these two and remains mysteriously by hinting issues around switch. The suspenseful and dark atmosphere mixed with seriousness in plot by showing both sides in work makes the manga appealing and are implied in the anime too. I would really love to see it turning into a series by following in the shown manner.

9.00 (very good) I'm a big fan of this show and manga. The animation is good and the story as well as the setting is very interesting and unique. They follow the manga closely till the 1st half of the 2nd season. I think after that they created its own continuation. I'm not sure how far the show digressed because the manga is still at a point where the plot differences only occur. Even though the show lets open quite a few questions its end is nicely done. The shown characters are manifold and have their own peculiarities. I really like the relationship between Gauche/Noir and Lag throughout the story and how the different encounters shape and influence ones character. I'm also glad that they didn't made a typical happy end !!ATTENTION SPOILER!! in which Lag's promise to Sylvette were fullfiled but rather both of them must face reality accepting Gauche's change and be still happy.

9.50 (excellent) Was my first-ever watched anime in TV back in my school days. Nowadays, art (long noses) is probably a matter of getting used to, but nice love story with a touch tragedy plus mecha and an overall excellent story.I especially like that none episodes or even parts of them are unnecessary. The story is constantly pushed forward - no unneeded sidetracks, summaries or additional meaningless situations. The story is like the red string of fate and connects all. Highly recommend.

9.00 (very good) King dispatches his sentenced to death friend, who mostly enjoys afternoon naps, on a journey to find the hero relicts after his own theory to "how the world can become happy". Light Novel adaption. Suspenseful story, interesting characters, good animation. I love the opening and ending songs and Ryner ;). The first episode throws the viewer amidst the whole story and caught you unprepared but don't be afraid to continue watching things are getting really good and intriguing. The following eps already show the right order of the story and build a connection to the 1st ep without a problem. Personally, I liked this entrance for the series. It gives you a nice introduction to the characters and let you wonder how things turned out that way. To discover that you should simply watch the rest. The end feels a bit rushed and left unanswered questions but without a doubt worth a watch.

9.50 (excellent) I'm really looking forward to see the whole thing animated. The corresponding manga is cool! and I hope the anime will also. The setting is original and the characters are all likeable. The series only has started but looks good till now. I will definitively watch it through to see some more awesomeness from Yoshino and Mahiro and looking forward to discover the mystery about Aikas death. It's rare to see so well balanced main charas plus the hamlet quotations add a nice sense of foreshadowing.
